Devious Journal Entry
As 2012 nears its end, I find myself going backward in time to the 1970's when I was a certified Polaroid camera and film tester. More than 40 years has passed and Instant film is making a come back. The Impossible Project is a big factor in the resurgence. While I have 2 Polaroid 360 cameras that use the 100 series pack film (or peel apart type) I much prefer my Polaroid 680 SLR camera and Impossible Project film. Rebel Smith photographed by Koop
If you follow my work at all you may have noticed that I've been working with Rebel Smith almost exclusively for the past 4 months. I'm proud to call her my best friend and collaborator. We are in the process of preparing a gallery show of our work together that will open later this year here in San Pedro, CA. To help us assemble the show I have posted a web gallery on my web site that we invite you all to take a look at: http://www.fineartundressed.com/RebelSmith/index.html
Please feel free to comment here. Looking forward to knowing your favorites.
Thanks,

My first reaction was what the fuck, really? But the action I took was the balancing act of Art vs. Commerce. Their commerce provides me with the funds to do my art. In the final analysis its comical that they pay me to offend their students and faculty with my art work, yet they don't want me to stop working for them because they value my artistic ability to create images that sell their alumni on giving bi
