As 2012 nears its end, I find myself going backward in time to the 1970's when I was a certified Polaroid camera and film tester. More than 40 years has passed and Instant film is making a come back. The Impossible Project is a big factor in the resurgence. While I have 2 Polaroid 360 cameras that use the 100 series pack film (or peel apart type) I much prefer my Polaroid 680 SLR camera and Impossible Project film. If you follow my work at all you may have noticed that I've been working with Rebel Smith almost exclusively for the past 4 months. I'm proud to call her my best friend and collaborator. We are in the process of preparing a gallery show of our work together that will open later this year here in San Pedro, CA. This is the best lens I have ever used. There is no other lens like this ever manufactured. The sharpness at every f-stop and every focal length is outstanding. This is not a technical review, but a practical review by someone who expects a lot from his equipment. Currently selling for less then $1800 this lens is worth every penny. As with every piece of equipment there are limitations to this lens like the front element is easy to damage and you can't use filters with this lens.
